Somebody pls get married at the ZOO...!

And put your bridesmaids in these zebra + giraffe-print Kate Spade dresses.

They're a leetle pricey, but come on. So are those stupid Jenny Yoo dresses they'll never wear again.

  3. no no, the jenny yoo is for the wedding i'm in this weekend! it's the one that makes me feel like i should be throwing a drink in someone's face at an '80s prom. i plan to be wearing it someday when i meet james spader.

the word on the street is that sis will be making us wear pastel j.crew.

  9. Oh man. I'm totally going to make my sister do this. Not that she's engaged or even has a boyfriend. But she's crazy about the zoo.

  10. And I just discovered our local zoo does weddings. We're going to make this happen.

  11. I went to a cocktail party at the Central Park zoo once and became obsessed with the idea of having a party there ... Then 10 years later I got engaged and learned it was super pricey (duh). Oh well. My wedding and reception were amazing in the end so it's all good.

Also, I went to a wedding at the Sydney Zoo, which I was all excited about, but then it turned out the wedding/reception area were kind of separate from the zoo itself and could really have been anywhere. Sad.

Lastly, I wore a long version of the dress in this picture for my own wedding and, as previously mentioned, love the idea of zoo weddings, so I was super psyched when NY Mag had this picture of a wedding at the Bronx Zoo in their weddings issue ... http://nymag.com/weddings/slideshow/sw10/zoo/
