Speaking of FAERIES.....

How do we feel about Anne Hathaway's "Rock-Star Elfin Princess" look from Somebodyorother's White Fairytale Love Ball?

  1. she owned shakespeare in the park and gets a faerie free pass in perpetuity, i say. she can wear that to ippudo if she wants (though she would get ringlets in her ramen).

  6. i agree with Anonymous ... Miss Anne looks AWFUL in this picture. not only too skinny, the color is so unflattering ! frankly the dress looks like something i wore in a dance performance when i was 10.

  7. The crown/tiara with her wavy hair makes her look more like Jesus than a faerie. I mean, in some circles, I guess those two are interchangeable.

  8. I don't know why, but the ugliness of that bracelet totally saves this for me. Also, stop bitching about ladies and their weight when it has nothing to do with the question!

  9. yeah, I'm getting more Jeasaeus than faerie

  10. I think she looks fabulous no matter what weight she is. I love the hair and the bracelet and the sleeves on that dress. I adore the whole dang thing.

  11. It's a bunch of little things that make me really dislike it. First the hair. Gurl. I have fine hair and that's what it does when it falls, especially if there's ANY humidity, it just looks really limp. I'd like to see the little cap sleeves moved off the shoulders to add some interest (although this may be the way she's posing) maybe some boning in the top to add structure. It's the make-up that does it though. If you're going to do fairy-princess, do something ethereal and soft and pretty. Too much eyeliner, too much mascara. She has gorgeous lips (she is very pretty), but maybe play with the color a bit if the dress is going to be so white so it doesn't look as harsh.

  12. She looks like a figure skater in horrible stage makeup. With a stupid bracelet.

  14. I'm just trying to figure out how that dress is considered "vintage" when it was created sometime between '05 and '08 when Valentino: The Last Emperor was filmed.
The creation of that dress is featured in the beginning of the documentary.
Am I the only one who thinks the word "vintage" is WAY over used?
