QUICK: WHICH WEDGES SHOULD I BUY?

I've been looking for a slightly dressier alternative to my granny sandals, which I LOVE, and have been wearing the hell out of.

Are these Kork Ease jammers too similar?

I like that they are sorta similar. It means I'm developing a uniform, which makes it so much easier to get dressed when I have to leave the house.

And then I also like these Elizabeth and James platforms. More dressy, less comf.

More $$$

  1. The Kork Ease are so comf. Get them.

  2. I can't see how the E+J will be less comfy - they're just more dosh. I'd say go for E+J, variety in your closet is a good thing.

  3. If by "dressier" you mean "newer looking but otherwise the same" buy the Kork Ease. If by "dressier" you mean "different" buy the Elizabeth and James.

    3. Yep, now that you linked to the dress, I agree. The E&J are more clean and modern, though I do think you'll get more mileage out of the Kork Ease in the long run.

  5. I had a pair of Kork-Ease. I sold them on ebay because the raw edges on the leather uppers destroyed my feet. Blisters everywhere.

  6. I have a pair of Kork Ease and I love them. Super comfy. I also had a pair of wood bottom platforms like those E&J and I felt really clompy in them and I tripped a lot. There's just no give. I like the look though.

  8. Could you buy both and return the pair that's less comfortable/keep the ones that look better with your wardrobe? I do that sometimes if I can afford the short-term purchase so long as the money goes back :S But more often than not I end up keeping everything so my comment is just adding to the non-helpful side of comments :[

  9. those e&j ones look like they'd be so heavy and awkward to walk in... i vote for the kork ease!

  10. Go for the the E&J - the KE are going to be around (do they change their styles?) so you can get them later if you still want them. If you're going to be doing a lot of walking, wear your granny sandals, if not, then you have the E&J. If you need something dressier, just wear something dressier that you already have.

  12. The E + J ones are a lot trendier. Seems like a lot of money for something that will probably go out of style much faster. Plus, if you were really looking for variety, you wouldn't be contemplating two pairs that are so similar. KE 4 life.

    1. That style above isn't on sale there and that style is cuter.

  18. E + J no question. If YOU ran in to a group of catholic school girls in uniform and one of them was wearing THOSE... Which one are you taking home?

  19. Okay...I have a pair of Kork Ease, and they are so comfortable, and I have worn them a lot, but I only got them in October, and they are already falling apart. They literally have a split in the side on each shoe. I don't know about that. I still wear them, but I am expecting them to bite the dust one day. I'm just not sure about the quality.
