Damn You, Lars von Trier

You put a wedding in your new movie?

Plus Alexander Skarsgård? Plus Kirsten Dunst and Charlotte Gainsbourg?

Now I have to see it. In spite of the reviews. And your bizarro press conferences. And the way your other movies made me feel sort of sick to my stomach.

  3. I saw Bridesmaids. The horribleness of the dress/s is part of the joke. I liked it.

  4. @Mouse I actually liked it too. I'm just saying. Also: The $800 bridesmaids' dresses in the movie were pretty good. OF COURSE they had to David's Bridal em up in the poster.

  5. If either of them ever come out here in the UK, I look forward to admitting to watching the Kirsten Dunst one and maybe going by myself to the other.

  9. Agree with Bridesmaids. Surprisingly hilarious and not cliched. The most realistic female friendship I've ever seen on screen (kristen wiig and maya rudolph). And Chris O'Dowd-why have I not seen *him* before?

    Loved it.

  16. @Amanda...I second you.

Has Kirsten Dunst been some amazing films? Yes. Is Kirsten Dunst kinda awesome in real life? Yes. Does any of this make her a good actress and worth shelling out any sort of money JUST to see her in a movie? No way in hell.

  17. I hate that he made this trailer so damn attractive. And apparently, he says this film doesn't have a happy ending like his others.

Because y'know, Nicole Kidman in a rape montage and Charlotte Gainsbourgh cutting off her lady parts just screams feel good movie.
