Where can I find this Gucci dress for, like, $200?

Dear ESB,

I'm going to a wedding in the Hudson Valley this fall and I'm trying to figure out what to wear. I like the idea of wearing a long floral dress, mostly because I fell in love with this Gucci Drew Barrymore is wearing in a 2006 Vogue.

Any suggestions for where a girl can find a feminine long dress that doesn't look like a potato sack? Preferably in red or some other rich color (under $200).

I can probably be convinced of going in an entirely different direction if you have something in mind.

Thank you!

How bout something like this Rachel Zoe?

(On sale for $259)

(If you're a 0/4)

(Or you could just go with this red jumpsuit)

    2. I have a short version of the purple wren dress that I just wore to a wedding - and it was awesome - great for dancing, sexy open back situation, nice silk, totally recommend it!

  6. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. And, yea I know, I'm not delusional. I'm not looking for a Gucci replica for $50. I just meant that those beautiful red flowers made me want to own another (10) floral dress(es). I love the back of that exhibit C dress. I totally can't afford the a+o dress, but it's gorgeous.

  7. I think Mary Anne's C wins, especially given that it's on sale.

Mine are all higher than $200, but here are some more options:

    Green baroque print

    Rich color, gorgeous back

Red silk floral(not 100% sure on this one)

    1. That first one is gorgeous.

On another note: ESB was nice enough to tell us how to make fancy links. It's right up there under 'How to make fancy links.'

    2. Wow, really? Do you tell everyone that they should do fancy links, or just folks who take time to do tinyurls? Because I've seen a million links just pasted into these comments that are crazy long and yet... you're only commenting here.

    3. JUST DO IT. ALL OF YOU.

      jeezus.

    4. oh piss off. It's not that hard to copy and paste, whereas that fancy link thing hurts my brain.

    5. This is anon 7:01 - I don't care at all about the 'tinyurl,' I care that Meri put five links in her post and didn't use the handy dandy 'Fancy links' tutorial. The rest of the 'non-fancy link' crowd only put one, so they didn't 'hurt my brain' as much as Meri.

I actually didn't mean it in a nasty way. I thought maybe she hadn't seen ESB's tutorial, so I thought I'd point it out so she could use it next time. I was terse because I was on my phone. Clearly I'm not now, as I'm being verbose.

    6. Anon, I wasn't telling you to piss off, I was telling esb to piss off. It would be rude to tell you to piss off because I don't know you at all. I'm sorry if you thought I was being rude to you, your comment was very nice, esb's was just bossy.
