personality test FAIL

Ilovejezebel inspired me to take this test, and now I'm really pissed off about the results.

I may be a Guardian in that I'm trying to shepherd some of you through the wedding-planning process, but I'm no Mother Teresa. (Or Martha Stewart.) I'm an Artist, GODDAMMIT.

Hey Keirsey, you try and finish a screenplay without setting some motherfucking deadlines. Go ahead.

  2. @jamie you should be pissed that you're not a Rational. right? FUCK THAT TEST.

  3. I'm an Idealist (but I so wanted to be an Artisan too). I've actually read through Keirsey's books and what I took away was the big difference is between Intuitives (abstract thinkers) and Sensors (concrete thinkers). I can churn out ideas till the cows home. Action? Not so much. :)

  9. I'm with KC — I came out as an Idealist. I think it's pretty right on. I'm concerning with personal growth and need a career where I can stretch my imagination on a continual basis.

  10. OK so I took the test, and then it turned out I took it way back in 2003! Idealist then, idealist now. It's a fair cop gov innit.

  11. guardian here too. i find it VERY hard to believe that i fall into the same category as 40-45% of the population when i easily can't deal with about 40-45% of the people i know.

  12. @Celia I find it very hard to believe you're a GUARDIAN when you can't deal with 40-45% of the people you know. that goes double for me.

  16. idealist. what kc said - big on ideas, bad on action. i'm also easily distracted and actually took this test instead of doing the mountain of work i have waiting for me today. thanks, esb.

  18. Idealist.

It turns out I took the test five years ago and was an idealist then, too. Go figure.

  19. I just wanted to let you know that this test is a rip-off of the Myers-Briggs personality test which is a branch off of Jung's original one. It's highly inaccurate so don't listen to it. You probably know more about yourself more than any generalized test can tell you anyhow. These tests are meant to be used for people who have trouble communicating with another individual and it's to help better understand them. There are a lot of people who have a hard time remembering that everyone is not like them and do not think the way that they do. That's all this test is designed to show so no worries!
