I want more sparkle in my life

I blame Gossip Girl mostly.

Been wearing my sparkly sweater coat to shreds, but now I might really need this. I do have a birthday coming up....

  1. hot. but i can't shop free people, anthropologie or urban outfitters anymore...the owner is a huge ANTI-GAY rights contributer. he contributed a ton of $$$ to the prop 8 campaign...so sad that he took all my money i've spent at free people & anthro & tried to put me *down* with it. down with the man!!

    but cute top {as i walk off my soapbox...sorry, got carried away there, can you tell i'm bitter?}

  6. Weirdly, he was a hippie for five minutes with his wife in the 70's when they founded free people together. But he ditched her, kept the name, and became super conservative.

    D*mn. I didn't realize he owned Anthropolgie too. Eff. Well, I don't like the prices anyway.

  7. i know, it sucks even more when they *start out* cool & hippie and continue to market themselves as such.

  8. Do it.

    P.S. I'm a bad influence.

    P.P.S. I also didn't know that about Anth/FP/etc. Sad.

  9. I blame Gossip Girl for my want of the sparkle as well. I can't tell you how many times in the last two years I've asked myself, "What would Blair wear?"

    I cannot tear my eyes away. It must be the sparkles... or the headbands?
