damn straight! you're too creative for that shit anyway!
i'm with you ... both on sparkles and stupid yes on 8. it kinda hurts because i love anthropologie, but i hate yes on 8 so.much.more. hooray for socially responsible consumerism.
aw, can't we forgive glen senk at anthropologie, at least? from pink paper:"Openly gay Glen Senk, the company’s chief executive of business, told Pink Paper: “Urban Outfitters did not make a donation, Dick Hayne did. It was a private donation. His last one was in 2005. Prior to that, it was ’98. Santorum made these horrific statements on homosexuality in 2003, and the bulk of the donations were prior to this, so we’re only talking about $1,000 after his evil proclamation.“There is nothing homophobic about Dick Heyne,” he continued. “When he made these donations I said to him: ‘I’m personally offended by the fact that you would support this guy. If he had his way I’d be in jail’. And he said to me: ‘You’re right, I hate his views regarding homosexuality, but I’m not a one-issue voter’.” "
wow, thanks for this... it's pretty rare that i find myself in those stores but it's good to know that next time i do i'll be stealing something.
He, he. When I found that Urban dress at Goodwill, Dustin made sure to remind me that I wasn't supporting UO. I reminded him that it also meant I was paying much closer to the actual worth of the garment ($5 as opposed to the jacked up $80 that UO considers appropriate for a piece of polyester).
Why can't all the nice clothes be made by and sold by nice people? Grrr
nice. let's go thrifting soon, girl.xox
