WHAT ABOUT FEATHERS?

I feel like maybe we haven't fully explored feathers.

  1. I love a good feather. I had feathers on my birdcage.

  2. Love feathers. There are some on my dress, just a few wispy little ones. I'd like to see some good hair accessories with feathers made by decent people.

  4. My bridesmaids all wore feathers in their hair. I didn't pick 'em out, I just said, have a feather or two in your hairdo somewhere. Some had feather headbands, some had just a few little feathers tucked into braids or bobby-pinned in place...

    2. Ouch. That is a particular cruelty, isn't it.
In fairness, as well as being the first google hit I got for the full poem, it comes up in Times New Roman on my ipad!

  7. Sadly, though flower crowns have been around a lot longer than wedding blogs, everyone sees them as a trend. I wore one because my mom and her mom wore one. Unfortunately, thick-headed trend mongers will see my photos and compliment my "trendy wedding". VOMIT. Not that I care what people think; my photos are timeless and most importantly, meaningful. Also, feathers are pretty. So are branches. Whatever it is, just make it yours.

  8. Don't worry Marie, ESB poo poo'ed my feathers a year ago (because barrettes were soooo much cooler). It's all cyclical and I totally agree, as long as something has personal meaning it will never be subject to trend.
