I love a good feather. I had feathers on my birdcage.
Love feathers. There are some on my dress, just a few wispy little ones. I'd like to see some good hair accessories with feathers made by decent people.
friend of mine from high school makes these: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BeInTheMOments
My bridesmaids all wore feathers in their hair. I didn't pick 'em out, I just said, have a feather or two in your hairdo somewhere. Some had feather headbands, some had just a few little feathers tucked into braids or bobby-pinned in place...
better an IVY CROWNno, reallydarker, earthier, more substance, less flighty. sexier.
Mmmm yes. This is my favorite love poem. Although it looks SO DUMB in Comic Sans.
Ouch. That is a particular cruelty, isn't it. In fairness, as well as being the first google hit I got for the full poem, it comes up in Times New Roman on my ipad!
glad i'm not the only one who thinks the flower crowns are overrated by now. feathers - yes.
Sadly, though flower crowns have been around a lot longer than wedding blogs, everyone sees them as a trend. I wore one because my mom and her mom wore one. Unfortunately, thick-headed trend mongers will see my photos and compliment my "trendy wedding". VOMIT. Not that I care what people think; my photos are timeless and most importantly, meaningful. Also, feathers are pretty. So are branches. Whatever it is, just make it yours.
Don't worry Marie, ESB poo poo'ed my feathers a year ago (because barrettes were soooo much cooler). It's all cyclical and I totally agree, as long as something has personal meaning it will never be subject to trend.
