Vote NO On Prop 8

And please vote for Obama.

I had planned to do a more elaborate post for today. I meant to take up this challenge from Peonies. What better time to mull over what I love about my country.... Right?

But I'm a little f'ing freaked out to be frank.

  1. Hopefully tomorrow will be the perfect day to mull over what you love about your country.

  2. I feel you... I'm totally nervous about tonight. I voted last week, so all I can do is sit and wait!

  3. Here here Guilty, I think that is exactly what I am hoping too.

    I am little freaked too, east side, but we just gotta do our bit, hope for the best, and take solace in the fact that others are just as freaked out as you are.

    Hope this helps :)

  4. I keep telling myself that, no matter what, at the end of the day, we all still have to talk to one another. Hopefully everyone else remembers that.

  5. I decided to vote early. Probably a good idea, since they're saying record crowds and 5-hour long lines in certain places across the country.

    But I'm also freaking out. I keep telling myself to stop thinking about it, but that only makes me think about it MORE. Oh well.

  6. God I'm anxious, it's going to be a long night. I second Guilty, hopefully tomorrow there will be one more thing to love about your country. Here's hoping.

  7. I'm a bit of a mess today - just waiting and biting my nails and not getting any work done. I voted early, so I don't even have any voting related activity to take care of. Keeping my fingers crossed...

  8. We voted absentee weeks ago. I kind of miss the camaraderie of seeing everyone at the polls, but I'm glad to have the paper trail!

  10. hi, thanks for your note. i volunteered at the polls all morning, just got to work, for the NO on 8 campaign...at my poll we had about 90% NO support, which made me feel better! i know it's only one poll in LA, but let's hope that others trend that way!!

    i hope i'm still married tomorrow!!
    {of course no matter if this passes, we will still be married--license or not-- i'm just being dramatic!}
