Creme de la Merde

I really wanted this stuff to work, even though it costs $125 an ounce. Madonna bathes in it. John Waters uses it. (Wait, is that an endorsement?) My best friend swears by it. She bought a jar before she got married and she says she'll never go back. The little lines in her face melted away, the tiny scars from old blemishes disappeared, blah blah blah.

I've given Creme de la Mer three tries, with clear skin and an open mind. I got bumps all over my forehead every time. Bah.

If you've had an amazing experience, I don't really want to hear about it. I'm going back to Neutrogena for Sensitive Skin.

  1. I've been wanting to try this but imagining that it must be capable of miracles for the price tag.

  3. well if you have a wheat allergy or intolerance this stuff has wheat germ in it. i used to use this alot. but i developed a gluten intolerance to wheat and now i cant use it. for the most part it is made up of seaweed/kelp which is supposed to be god for healing your skin but not if you are wheat intolerant. so i think i am going back to channel no 1 skin creme and toss this stuff.
