'pre-preg...i think that pre-engaged is worse... Your words, not hers, guys. And i don't really think that trying to conceive a baby is in any way the same as being 'pre-engaged', but anyway...

She is just saying that she and her husband are trying to conceive, and she is wondering if there is a good dress that she can get now that would work for either a non-pregnant, early-pregnant, or far-along-pregnant bridesmaid...
Maybe she wants to tick this thing off the list nice and early??

My two cents would be that you should wait because there is plenty of time to go before April 2013. With only two to arrange this shouldn't be a biggy (esp if you go for different styles, obv).

If you want to tick the dress of the list now for any reason, just go with an empire line or maxi dress. No drama. By the wedding I was 15 weeks pregnant and it would NOT have fit if my wonderful mother-in-law hadn't added a panel in the back. It was a big hassel and I didn't know whether it would fit until I put it on the day of the wedding. (I kept getting bigger!) I say put off purchasing anything for as long as you can and go empire waist. Long is good with lots of flowy fabric in the skirt/tummy region. I can still wear a few of my empire waist dresses at 34 weeks but I have not gained a lot of extra weight. If you are really unlucky you may go up a size anyway. Also, don't forget *room in the chest*. You may (likely) gain 2 cup sizes!
Also, I definitely understand not wanting to tell your sisters that you guys are trying. We would not have dreamed of telling our family that we were trying, though we did hint at it with some friends. Sometimes family members get excited about such things and forget to keep their mouths shut!Juliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00034443854944184130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468279200135971946.post-47069914368459302462012-07-24T10:52:52.465-07:002012-07-24T10:52:52.465-07:00@HH dude, have you not seen the BABY BOARDS?@HH dude, have you not seen the BABY BOARDS?esbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00215882729011442570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468279200135971946.post-65751239464103644462012-07-24T10:52:21.931-07:002012-07-24T10:52:21.931-07:00what H.H. said about creepy pinterest boards.what H.H. said about creepy pinterest boards.lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14182827196309235903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468279200135971946.post-80137179179219383932012-07-24T10:48:08.195-07:002012-07-24T10:48:08.195-07:00Something like this Hatch Collection dress in fawn...Something like this Hatch Collection dress in fawn or sandalwood silk.
