I'm clumsy too, and worried it would be a liability having a softer, more brittle stone, but it's a flat stone with a bezel setting and is doing fine so far, even though I regularly forget to take it off for teaching pottery/washing up/moving logs/other non-ladylike jobs. I'd recommend it.

There is a picture of it here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468279200135971946.post-76226027882394502842013-11-08T18:23:12.695-08:002013-11-08T18:23:12.695-08:00Everyone here is a liar and opals are the best eve...Everyone here is a liar and opals are the best ever. I have no suggestions as far as actual rings, but a word of warning: I too wanted an opal engagement ring, but thought better of it when I realized that opals are super soft stones that break easily. If you, like me, have a penchant for running into things or smacking your hand into the wall when you gesticulate wildly during a conversation, then an opal ring might not be the best idea for something that's supposed to last you forever.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16298197720959215031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468279200135971946.post-82055920396597002872013-11-08T18:14:05.447-08:002013-11-08T18:14:05.447-08:00Pretty etsy ring?Pretty etsy ring?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6468279200135971946.post-17661817291624783302013-11-08T17:59:21.794-08:002013-11-08T17:59:21.794-08:00This ring might fit your bill.
