I want a birthday do-over

Is that a terrible thing to say?

We've been so pooped from the wedding planning, there hasn't been any kind of birthday party around here in three years.

Maybe I'll throw a surprise anniversary party for H.

  2. I'll bake a cake?

Also fucking wedding blogging makes me think my wedding was shit. Yet I can't stop.

  4. Hey, I do see a cake, balloons and flags! That's pretty good!

This year, all that happened on my birthday a month before our wedding was this: My fiance baked me a cake - first ever! - then proceeded to eat the entire thing the next day when I was at work. I came home wanting to eat a bite, and I was understandably PISSED when it was gone. His rational? "I knew you were trying to cleanse before the wedding, I was just helping you!"

We still went through with the wedding, as you know.

  5. I fucking hate my birthday, but I always want Brian's to be amazing. Throw H a party - piñata, balloons, crazy obnoxious things like that. You'll feel awesome.
